This privacy policy is specific to the pinpointlearning website ("Website").

We will never sell data to a third party.

This privacy policy explains how we will do this. We will review this privacy policy in the light of comments we receive so please check the latest version. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us by emailing us at tom.quilter@pinpointlearning.co.uk.

By using the Website, you are accepting the practices described in this statement.

What data do we store?

For each student on the site we store only their name, school and their maths marks.

We do not store student’s email addresses, personal passwords or any other information whatsoever. Student passwords are randomly auto generated by the site, students and schools cannot change them.

Teachers registering (including on a trial basis) for their class or school give their consent at the time of registration to provide us with their own name, school name, email address, and school phone number.

Only administrators can view data from other schools to ensure the smooth running of the platform. Currently this is only myself (a part-time teacher) and Mr Jon Hargreaves (also a part-time teacher). Both individuals naturally have full DBS clearance.

Please see Pinpoint Learning listed in GDPRiS’s supplier directory here.

After discovery of any data breach we will contact the school affected within a maximum of 24 hours.

For invoice payments, we use a third party accounting service, FreeAgent, to create and send the invoices. Transactions are encrypted using SSL technology. The information sent to FreeAgent is limited to the billing person's name and email address, the organisation's name and postal address and what you've ordered. Use of your personal information is governed by FreeAgent's privacy policy, which may be viewed at https://www.freeagent.com/website/privacy/.
